PAY TAXES

CATON TAXPAYERS
2021 Town & County Tax Bills may be paid online by clicking on the above "PAY TAXES" link (fees apply). 

E-check surcharge fee for a tax bill payment: (up to $2,000) is $2.50.  E-check surcharge fee for a tax bill payment: ($2,001 up to $4,000) is $5.00. E-check surcharge fee increases by $2.50 for every $2,000 of tax bill amount due.


Credit card surcharge for a tax bill of up to and including $64 is $1.75. Credit card surchage for a tax bill of up to $65 and over is 2.75%. 

Need a copy of a Town & County tax bill? You can go back as far as 2007 on the "PAY TAXES" link above to view and print a copy.

Credit/Debit card and E-check now accepted to pay for dog licenses, hunting licenses, marriage licenses, building permits & for any purchase made in the Town Clerk's Office. 

E-check surcharge is $2.50. Credit card surcharge for any item purchased up to $64 is $1.75 added to the card. 
Credit card surcharge for any item purchased over $64 is 2.75% added to the card.
As always, you can still pay in person by check or in cash with no service fee.

Town of Caton Public Hearing

TOWN OF CATON 
LEGAL NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Caton Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, December 8th, 2021, at 6 pm, prior to the Regular Monthly Town Board Meeting, at the Caton Town Hall, 11161 Hendy Hollow Road, Corning NY, for the purpose of the following: to consider whether to opt out of permitting the licensing of adult-use marijuana dispensaries and/or on-site consumption lounges in their jurisdiction.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that any resident of the Town of Caton shall be heard at such Public Hearing.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL ELECTION CATON FIRE DISTRICT 1

Annual Election of the Caton Fire District #1 will take place on December 14, 2021, between the hours of 6 pm - 9 pm. Election will take place at the Neally-DeJong building in Caton Center, located at 1095 Caton Road (across from Walushka's car dealership), for electing one Commissioner for a five (5) year term, beginning January 1, 2022.

Any Caton citizen who is a registered voter on or prior to 11/22/2021 and has resided in the Town of Caton for at least thirty days preceding such election shall be qualified to vote.

CLERK'S OFFICE

A variety of free food is distributed every Thursday from 4:30 to 5:30 pm to Lindley and Caton residents who are in need.
Proof of residency is required at sign-up.     



CATON SENIOR CITIZENS

Caton Senior Citizens Group meet on the second Tuesday of each month at the Caton United Methodist Church.
Due to the covid virus, meetings will not be held until otherwise stated.
