2012 CATON COMMUNITY DAY SCHOLARSHIP ATTENTION ALL HIGH-SCHOOL SENIORS THAT LIVE WITHIN THE CATON/LINDLEY COMMUNITY If you are graduating in year 2012, reside in the Caton/Lindley area and are going to a college or a trade school you can apply for the 2012 Caton Community Day Scholarship. Contact your high-school Guidance Office for more information. Applications due by April 5, 2012. TOWN ASSESSORS' OFFICE SENIOR CITIZENS If you are 65 years of age or more or will be 65 by 12/31/2012 you may be eligible for the Enhanced Star School Tax Exemption. REMINDER For those currently receiving Enhanced Star & Senior Exemptions, be sure to renew by March 1, 2012. Assessors' are in on Tuesday & Thursday, 1 to 6 pm. PANTRY OF ANGELS Presho United Methodist Church 1727 Indian Hills Road, Painted Post NY 607-523-7250 A variety of free food is distributed every Thursday from 4:30 to 5:30 pm to Lindley and Caton residents who are in need. Proof of residency is required at sign-up, 2011-2012 School Tax Rate  The 2011-2012 Caton Corning-Painted Post School Tax Rate is $24.42722 per assesed $1000. The 2010-2011 Tax Rate was 23.15678.
